Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Central Zionist Archives, Israel (Record Group J25). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Central Zionist Archives via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 2011.

Scope and Content

This collection includes lists of Polish refugees in the Soviet Union; testimonies of survivors about the destruction of the Jewish communities in Poland; correspondence with the Polish Provisional Government regarding the actions and attitudes regarding Polish Jews in the present and future.
