Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Israel State Archives, previously hold by the Palestine Government under the British Mandate, Israel Ministry of the Interior and Israel Prime Minister’s Office, c/o Israel State Archives. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection from the Israel State Archives via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in Feb. 2011.

Scope and Content

Contains 34 registers of enemy debts, 1941-1946, and case files of claims to property in the year 1947 in enemy or enemy occupied countries, such as Poland, Czechoslovakia, USSR, Hungary, etc.
