Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny im. Emanuela Ringelbluma (ŻIH), Sygn. 209. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from ŻIH via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in Sep. 2009, and accretion in 2013.
Scope and Content
Contains original documents as well as copies of letters from prisoners of various camps, accounts and memoirs, camp correspondence, reports made out by the Polish underground state, articles and newspaper clippings, different post-war documents related to the commemoration of those places, as well as various name lists of prisoners from concentration camps across Europe. Documents have been collected at random and their content cannot be representative neither for the character nor for the history of particular camps; they can be treated only as supplementary records to other camp files.

In each of those series records are arranged in an alphabetical order, as per camps and their sub-camps.
