Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

Slide viewer; main body (a) is a smaller wooden box mounted on a larger woodeng box; one side has two viewing holes with a glass plate on opposite side; handles on bottom portion, and a locked door to a compartment; metal plaque on side with viewing holes reads "GRASS & WORFF/ INHABER: WALTER VOLLMANN / SPECIALHAUS / FUR PHOTOGRAPHIE U. PROJEKTION / BERLIN SW. 68, MARKGRAFENSTR. 18"; inside compartment holds three wooden trays (b,g, l) with metal knobs; each tray holds four metal frames (c-f, h-k, m-p) to hold slides; frames (except for c) have numbers 1-25 on the left edge, corresponding with slots and "ZEISS / IKON" stamped in bronze on front; frame numbered c has 1-25 on both sides of the frame and "ICA" stamped in bronze on front; key (q) has a round body with one knob at end and oval head with a 8-shaped cutout; "TAYLOR" engraved on one side of head and "654" engraved on opposite side.
