Acquisition

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives Branch received this collection from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Holocaust Survivors and Victims Resource Center in May 2010. Holocaust Survivors and Victims Resource Center received it from the Circulo Israelita de Bolivia. The Circulo Israelita has been partnering with the International Outreach Project of the Resource Center for the last year, helping us to register survivors in Bolivia.

Scope and Content

Contains photocopies of various documents and newspaper clippings related to immigration of Jewish people to Bolivia and creation of Jewish community in La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz.
