Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Esti Riigiarhiiv (Estonian States Archives), formerly the EstTsGaor (Estonian Central State Archive of the October Revolution), in Tallinn. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Estonian State Archive via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in April 2010.

Scope and Content

Contains selected records of Baltöl, the German petroleum company in Estonia; arrest and interrogation records of Jews (R-64); and other miscellaneous records concerning the Holocaust in Estonia.
