Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

Rectangular offwhite paper currency. Face has a graphic design in brown ink with repeating 200, and a blue border with numeric denomination medallions in the corners. In the center is a portrait medallion of D. Pedro I in blue flanked by blue numeric denomination medallions with a paisley design in orange, green, and purple. The series number is printed in red in the upper left and lower right corners. The serial number is printed in red in the lower left and upper right corners. Back is in green ink, a battle scene with horses and soldier is in the center. There are 3 medallions on each side with numeric denominations. There is Portuguese text in the top and bottom borders.
