The paper money was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2009 by Diana Nikkels, the granddaughter of Abigael de Vries and the daughter of Ingeborg de Vries Nikkels.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

Rectangular offwhite paper currency. Face has a graphic design in yellow ink with a dark yellow border. On the left is an oval medallion of the left profile of a woman’s face with surrounding scrollwork in green ink. There are banners at the top and bottom within the scrollwork. On the right is text in Italian in green ink, with a small numerical denomination medallion in center and repeating serial and series numbers in black ink. The back has an orange background with a scroll border. The text and design are in orange ink. There are medallions with the numeric denomination in all four corners. In the center is an octagon medallion surrounded by two circular medallions. The octagon has text in orange, and the 2 circular medallions have the numeric denomination. There are banners with text at the center top and bottom.
