Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition the Żydowski Instytut Historyczny im. Emanuela Ringelbluma (ŻIH), Sygn. 303/XIV. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received this collection via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in October 2008 (microfilm reels 1-118), and an accretion in Dec. 2010 (microfilm reel 119-148). This project is completed.

Scope and Content

Circulars, communiqués, and other publications; correspondence with American and Polish Jewish organizations and Polish governmental agencies; name lists of persons applying for passports, registration certificates, and records of financial assistance to emigrés; personal letters regarding emigration to Palestine/Israel; photographs and various miscellanea.
