Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

Rectangular paper currency. On recto, a white background with a decorative border with the numerical denomination 2 in center left and right medallions. The central image has a swastika, a man with a shovel, behind him, a man with a wheelbarrow; the background has a field and trees under a green sky. There is a sailing vessel at the bottom. On verso, a green background with a decorative motif in black consisting of 9 medallions arranged in a diamond pattern. Two of the medallions represent the denomination; 7 are of various insignia, chiefly Nazi party symbols.
