Cloth bound with gold lettering stamped on recto. Lettering reads: "JEWISH/HOLY SCRIPTURES/[seal] UNITED STATES OF AMERICA/WAR OFFICE/PRESENTED BY/THE ARMY OF THE UNITED STATES"; green ink is spilled on the outer edge of the pages and is visible when book is closed.
