Acquisition

Ed Zucker Fund for Archival Acquisitions in Lithuaania

Source of acquisition is the Lietuvos centrinis valstybės archyvas (Lithuanian Central State Archives), Fond 1235. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in March 2015.

Scope and Content

Collection contains records of the Board of the Jewish community of Skuodas (Shkud in Yiddish) in Lithuania. It includes minutes of the Board's meetings, correspondence and other records related to the activities of the Jewish community of Skuodas (Shkud) before WWII.
