Deportation of Jews

This film is considered an "orphan work" by Filmoteka Narodowa. Digital file contains source archive watermark in lower right corner. The Film and Video Archive has not successfully identified the location of this deportation footage, and the film may be comprised of scenes from several different train platforms or locations, and may have been filmed and/or produced by the Nazis. We also need confirmation that this shows deportation of "Poles" other than Polish Jews. According to Raye Farr on 11/14/00: It is possible these Jewish people are from the Warsaw ghetto, but what we see in the footage is not within the physical area of the Warsaw ghetto. Also, at this time in the Umschlagplatz, the assembly point in Warsaw from which people selected for deportation were then dispatched to the trains, there were cobblestones on the ground and trees were not visible. According to a shotlist from Filmoteka Narodowa, the Jews are being deported to Auschwitz concentration camp.
