  • It is possible that Anke Kauderová and Eva Clarke (newborn) appear in the final shot at Mauthausen showing a woman with her baby. Eva Clarke was born on April 29, 1945 at the gates of Mathausen. Her mother, Anke, was on a death march from Auschwitz to Mauthausen arriving April 29. She went into labor as soon as she saw the words Mauthausen. Their story is depicted in Wendy Holden's BORN SURVIVORS (2015).
