Biographical History
Chekhutska Valentyna Yukhymivna actively collected materials during the 80s of the 20th century - 00s of the 21st century. A local resident who wishes to preserve information about the historical events of her native region.
History Chekhutska Valentyna Yukhymivna, born 11.08.1929, former director of the district folk history and local history museum in Velyka Oleksandrivka village, Beryslav district. She participated in the work on the “Book of Sorrow of Ukraine” for the Kherson region, wrote in the local press about the Holocaust in the district. Places - Velyka Oleksandrivka, former Kalinindorf Jewish district. The materials were collected in the course of her professional activities.

Handwritten biographical memoirs and postal letters from local residents
Scope and Content
One folder entitled “Kalininske”, which consists of 30 sheets of biographical information about local Jews, their memoirs, photographs, and correspondence with one of them who left for Israel. Also in the folder are two handwritten sheets with a list of local Holocaust victims, 20 publications by Chekhutska V.I. on the Holocaust published in local periodicals, and 8 handwritten sheets on the Holocaust. Dates from the second half of the 20th century.
