Sijes, Benjamin A. (1908-1981). Radencommunist; na de Tweede Wereldoorlog medewerker Rijksinstituut voor Oorlogsdocumentatie, schreef onder andere studies over de arbeidsinzet en de Februaristaking; buitengewoon hoogleraar in Leiden (Cleveringa-leerstoel, 1970). Het archief bevat studies van Sijes over economische vraagstukken; stukken betreffende de geschiedschrijving over de Tweede Wereldoorlog, heksenvervolging, F. Weinreb, joodse kwesties, de textielindustrie (rapporten en andere stukken); zijn hoogleraarschap; Pannekoek's herinneringen (correspondentie, documentatie, aantekeningen, kopieën van verzamelde documentatie, etc.).
