Telegram van Veesenmayer aan het Auswärtige Amt in antwoord op de melding van Ludin (cf.doc. 637 en 638). Volgens Eichmann is het Slowaakse bericht waarschijnlijk juist. De laatste tijd zijn i.p.v. ervaren SD-leden SS-recruten (in hoofdzaak jonge Volksduitsers van de Balkan) als bewakers gebruikt. Gebleken is dat deze recruten zich in de hoogste mate ongeremd tonen, 20 juni 1944.
