Scope and Content
The file is part of a collection of dossiers created for each article mentioned in the French edition of The Key to the Mystery. Each file has a headline stating "Examination of the Clé du Mystère", number of article and short headline. It includes a cover page, a title, short headline, refutation, materials used (acquisition of books, etc.) and correspondence. A summary about the level of accuracy of the claim/quote is also included (true, but out of context, misquoted, false or not possible to verify). This folder includes a list of key names mentioned in the Key to the Mystery and Manie Maritz's trial. A speech by Rabbi Reichhorn at the grave of Rabbi Simeon Ben Yehuda as published in "Le Contemporain" is supposed to prove the Jewish aspiration of ruling the world. The fictive character of H. Goedsche from John Retcliff's novel Biarritz (the infamous chapter is included) is used to refute the claim. Another topic is the lack of patriotism among Jews. Bernhard Fischer's "Chrestomatie talmudique" is used, but quoted out of context. In addition Benjamin Disraeli and Dr. Ehrenpreis are quoted.
