Scope and Content
The first file contains a brochure titled "Tausend Jahre Österreich 976-1976" (1000 years of Austria 976-1976) by Dr. Franz Gall. It gives an overview of Austria's history incl. church history and cultural history. It also includes a set of stamps of each of the nine Austrian Federal States that were issued for the occasion. The second part of the brochure celebrates 100 years of the High Administrative Court, and the Bohemian Chancellery by Günter Düriegl. A set of original stamps issued for this occasion is included. The other part of the file consists of personal documents of Ludwig Dische, mainly private letters as well as an envelope in Cyrillic letters with pictures of the grave of Wolf Bardach (1840-1911), a Jewish officer who was raised into nobility. One letter is trying to verify the claim that Emilie Bardach, a love interest of Henrik Ibsen is related to the family.
