The file contains one typewritten copy of the so-called „Blutschutzgesetz“, the “Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honour” („Gesetz zum Schutze des Deutschen Blutes und der deutschen Ehre”) enacted on September 15, 1935. The document includes the full copy of the law’s seven paragraphs. The law is part of the so-called “Nuremberg Laws” and aimed at prohibiting and criminalizing marriages and personal relationships between non-Jewish and Jewish German people as well as at restricting the citizen rights for Jewish people.
