Scope and Content

The file of 11 pages contains the typewritten copy of a court judgement issued by the Special Court in Prague in September 1944. The accused, Wenzel Valvoda (born in Pisek in 1905), had been sentenced to death for having listened to foreign broadcasting services (London radio). Valvoda was sentenced to death as well as most as his co-defendants who had been sharing the Anti-German contents with each other: Josef Kolpek, Josef Kafka, Franz Krampl, Anton Petrak, Jaroslaus Hala, Vladimir Dubsky, Alois Talian, Norbert Petržilek, Wenzel Lusk, Georg Zbornik, Jaroslaus Jelen, Karl Hrach.
