The file contains the verdict of Franz Svátek (born on 19 August 1890 in Howorschow). In 1944 the defendant Svátek encountered two Russian prisoners of war who had escaped and were on the run. Svátek knew Russian and decided to help them. He explained the two men how to get to Prague as well as the woods without being seen. Furthermore, he did not report them. The defendant was found guilty of supporting enemies and was sentenced to death in 1944.
