Scope and Content

The file contains the verdict of Karl Pitrla (born on 22 January 1923 in Wernsdorf), a man from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The defendant was accused of continuously supporting a group of partisans by giving away food, clothes and other items from March to July 1943. The defendant was aware that the group was wanted by the police. Pitrla was found guilty and sentenced to death in October 1944
