Scope and Content

The file contains the verdicts of Marcel Morvan (born on 17 June 1921 in Lanrodec) and 12 other defendants. Morvan, Marcel Remy, Gabriel Aufaure, André Sainteville, Ludovicus Janssen, Paul Missey, Jean Hedoin and Jacques Maitrinal were accused of participating in burglaries in Berlin. The defendants were found guilty of aggravated theft and sentenced to death in 1944. Charles de Peco and Lucien Ferry received parts of the stolen goods and were therefore also sentenced to death. Emile Barbette was accused of participating in one of the burglaries for which he received a sentence of 4 years of penitentiary and a fine of 3000 RM. Pierette Bastide lived off the proceeds of the goods stolen by Gabriel Aufaure and was therefore sentenced to 4 years of penitentiary. Robert Aufaure participated in the transportation of the stolen goods and was sentenced to two years of penitentiary.
