Scope and Content

The file contains the verdict of Wenzel Dvorsky (born on 7 April 1906 in Jinocany), who cooperated with Emil Sevcik – a former colleague of him and a member of the illegal communist party. Wenzel Dvorsky agreed to act as a middleman to enable communication between party members. Sevcik announced that Josefa Fajmonova (an official of the illegal KCP; arrested in 1943) would come once a month to drop off a letter which would be picked up a few days later by Ludmilla Vylekal (another KCP official; arrested in 1941). From February 1940 until November 1940 the perpetrator received five letters in total. After a long period without any contact between Wenzel Dvorsky and officials of the KCP party Mrs. Fajmonova was accommodated for two nights in February 1943. Every eight to 14 nights Mrs. Fajmonova slept at the defendants house – often in company with other KCP officials. Wenzel Dvorsky was found guilty of accommodating enemies of the Nazi-Reich – hence, he was sentenced to death.
