Scope and Content

The file contains the verdict of Josef Dostalek (born on 22 December 1897 in Maratitz), who worked at his parents' farm from the age of 14. In 1902 he took the business over. Josef Dostalek is accused of putting a part of his harvest in his own pocket (economic war crime and sabotage). On December 17 1942 he was exposed by official Ung. Hradisch to have hidden barley, grain and poppy seeds. Josef Dostalek stated that he intended to dry his harvest and deliver the rest in the near future. The judge considered this statement inadmissible and sentenced Josef Dostalek to death.
