Nazis against Christianity
Extent and Medium
2 online resources (2, 29 pages)
Scope and Content
The files contain information on the relationship of National Socialism and Christianity. According to the documents Christianity has no place in German society. Christian symbols are to be removed from events such as funerals. Children should receive neither a Jewish nor a Christian education but only a German education. Furthermore, the idea in Christianity that all humans are brothers contradicts the race theory of the Nazis. A goal in German society would be that one day no one identifies as anything apart from being German.
