Scope and Content

The file consists of two evaluations of German propaganda pieces trying to discredit Great Britain. The first one was supposedly written by a native English speaker reflecting on the state of affairs. A more thorough look by the author of the file finds various mistakes of syntax and idioms. They show that the author must be German. The second file analyses the translation of Lord Lymington's book "Famine in England". The German translation shows that additions, falsifications, omissions and exaggerations were made. Each example shows the original paragraph and the translation incl. respective page numbers.
