The file is the final part of the biography of Henry Hellmann, a social democrat from Berlin. He continues his story with the events around the fire in the Reichstag and the trial, the following roundup of Socialist in the Vorwärts offices by the SA and helping to send property of the Social democrat leadership abroad. Due to his activities in the underground organisation "Neu Beginnen" he has to go into hiding. He manages to flee to Prague where he learned Czech and worked as a translator. After the occupation by the Germans he was able to secure an English visa and emigrated to England. An index of persons mentioned in the biography is included at the beginning of part one.
