Scope and Content
The file contains four circulars (“Rundschreiben”) by the United Restitution Organization (Frankfurt) from April and May 1970. The circulars include the following issues: no. 1663, no. 1662, no. 1661, and no. 1660. They mainly deal with recent court judgements made by the German Federal Court (Bundesgerichtshof) on questions of restitution after Nazi persecution, especially regarding juridical regulations and proceedings for pensions paid for professional damages, and for damages to life.
