Scope and Content
The file contains five circulars (“Rundschreiben”) by the United Restitution Organization (Frankfurt) from June and July 1973. The circulars include the following issues: no. 1808, no. 1807, no. 1805, no. 1803, and no. 1802. They mainly deal with recent court judgements made by the German Federal Court (Bundesgerichtshof) on questions of restitution after Nazi persecution, especially regarding juridical regulations and procedures for health damages following Nazi persecution, for health treatments, and for professional damages due to Nazi persecution. The topics include: „Gesundheitsschaden“, „Heilverfahren im Falle der Hilflosigkeit“, „Umfang des Anspruchs aus Art. III Nr. 2 SG“, „Berufsschaden der erwerbstätig gewesenen Ehefrau“.
