Scope and Content

The file is the first part of a collection of Holocaust memorabilia. This file contains money bills issued by the Jewish community of the displaced persons camp in Deggendorf, Germany in 1945 (denominations 5 cents, 10 cents). They are of poor quality pictured front and back. Further there is a loanslip for a library book (12.5.1983) from the Elias Sourasky library and a membership card of the B.D.M. Volksbund für das Deutschtum im Ausland for Werner Lange 1933/34 (association for Germans abroad). Finally there is a badge from Buchenwald 1958 from the German Democratic Republic.
