Scope and Content
The file contains the French speaking issue of the newspaper “Die Jüdische Informations-Zentrale” published by the Jewish Central Information Office in Amsterdam in order to inform on the situation of Jewish people in the world, and especially in Nazi Germany. The document itself is undated, but as this French issue is identical with the second German speaking edition published in August 1934, it was probably published in Summer 1934. Thematically, it focuses on the anti-Semitic publication “Weltdienst”, as well as on the trials regarding the “Protocols of the Elders in Zion” in Bern and Basel.
