Scope and Content
The file contains a letter sent from Yad Vashem to the Wiener Library in London in 1967 regarding a list of Yad Vashem’s holdings on the history of Jews in Bulgaria during the Holocaust. The letter was sent by Ora Alcalay, Senior Librarian of the Yad Vashem Martyr’s and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority in Jerusalem, to Mrs. Rudas from the Wiener Library in London. Enclosed to the letter is a typewritten list of five pages entitled “HEBREW” and showing Yad Vashem’s holdings regarding the history of Jewish people in Bulgaria during the Holocaust and in its aftermath. The bibliography includes publications in English, Bulgarian, and Hebrew.
