The file contains one copy of the magazine “Negro Digest - A Magazine of Negro Comment” published as no. 9 in July 1943 in Chicago. Edited by John H. Johnson and following the example of the magazine “Reader’s Digest”, this issue of the magazine presents articles on questions of history, culture, arts, and literature related to the African American community of the United States. Among the contributions of this issue is an article about “Racism: Jewish and Negro” by Walter F.
