The file contains the charge and verdict of Karl Wilhelm Schmidt (born on 23 January 1911 in Berlin). Karl Wilhelm Schmidt was a German and non-Jewish man from Berlin. In 1936 he traveled to the Soviet Union to marry Rebekka Schoenhaus, a Jewish woman. The "Blutschutzgesetz" forbade marriages between Jews and Non-Jews and sexual relationships between these two groups. In 1938 Schmidt was arrested and later that year sentenced to two years of penitentiary.
