Scope and Content

The file contains the verdicts of Marie Přecechtěl (born on 15 March 1916 in Rakodavy) and 10 other men and women from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The defendants were accused of supporting and not reporting Karl Bolf, an "enemy of the empire". Bolf was wanted by the police since 1943 for being part of a resistance group. He was able to escape arrest in the following months with help of the defendants. The defendants Marie Přecechtěl, Anna Bosák, Johann Kupka, Hedwig Kupka and Anton Kelar were sentenced to death in November 1943. Sofie Bolf received a sentence of six years of penitentiary. Aloisia Bolf was sentenced to five years of penitentiary. Josef Bold was sentenced to four years of penitentiary. Beatrix Dreiseitl was sentenced to two years of penitentiary, Vladimir Fleisner to one year and six months of penitentiary. The defendant Rudolf Bosak was acquitted of all charges.
