Scope and Content

The file contains the verdict of Franz Pelikan (born on 8 March 1896 in Minitz), a man from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The defendant was accused of having given shelter to a man named Hlavin, who was part of the resistance. Hlavin stayed with Pelikan on several occasions until shortly before Pelikan's arrest for listening to foreign radio broadcasts in 1943. Hlavin was found guilty and sentenced to death in 1944.
