The file contains press cuttings, correspondence and accounts regarding financial problems of the Talmud Tora-Realschule in Hamburg. Letters addressed to the chairman Aby S. Warburg concerning the lack of teachers after the First World War, a call for donations from the parents, so that the high standard of the Talmud Tora Realschule in Hamburg can be maintained and further calls for donations to private individuals. Also a letter approving the election of Aby S. Warburg as the chairman of the Talmud Tora school is attached. Aby S. Warburg himself asks friends to help him finance the Torah school and with that also help the Jewish community in Hamburg. Accounts that show the income, expenses and school fees, as well as donations are also attached. Furthermore a financial statement by the Talmud Tora Realschule for the school year of 1916/1917 is included. It shows the school's income and expenditure in detail.
