Scope and Content
The file contains several newspaper cuttings and reports regarding the Nazi era and the Holocaust. Also articles concerning economic topics and tax cuts are attached. The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) further had some investigations against the Church of Christian Liberty in Illinois. Most of the other articles are concerning the Holocaust. The National Educator reported in 1981 that a journalist affixed the anti-Semitic label to a conservative, pro-American publication, because assertedly the publication had distributed a book 'The Myth of the six Million', which, in the journalists eyes, was merely a republican plot to 'Knock Democratic Frank Church out of his position as Idaho's senior senator'. The Institute for Historical Review published a special edition entitled as 'Nazi gassing a myth?- A new look at the Holocaust. As they argue, nobody could prove the gas chamber thesis or that actually millions of Jews were executed by the Nazis, other arguments which deny the Holocaust and ask for evidence are quoted. The Institute for Historical Review, founded in 1978, is an organization based in California, United States, best known for publishing articles and books promoting Holocaust denial.
