Scope and Content
The file contains the verdict of Alois Holubec (born on 21 June 1901 in Kremsier) and Franz Lola (born on 4 June 1906 in Neudorf). In 1942 Franz Lola announced that he would deliver 350 kg of wheat, 2.800 kg of rye, 850 kg of barley and 2.500 kg of oat to the authorities. In fact, he produced 581 kg of wheat, 3.804 kg of rye, 1.135 kg of barley and 2.780 kg of oat – thus, he wanted to evade delivering 1.800 kg of his crop. The co-defendant, Alois Holubec was found guilty of doing illegal business with the evaded grain. They were sentenced to death.
