Scope and Content

The file contains correspondences as well as documents, postcards and abstracts from letters of Toedtli's archive. The correspondence is from 1935 till 1936 and contains several topics and documents. Some documents are summarized and inform about the used pseudonym and false signatures of de Pottere and de Clercq. The topics in this documents vary, some just inform about the deeds and plans of the Nationale Front Schweiz, about the Bern trial and about the financial relationships between the Nationale-Front Verlag and Erfurt. Furthermore documents of the Welt-Dienst in German and English, as well as a correspondence between Toedtli and Fleischhauer concerning money issues, can be seen. They also discuss about several anti-Semitic publications in Germany and other countries. Also handwritten postcards from and to several people, like J. Cooper and Mr. Famer, as well as institutions like Front Nationale, are attached. In addition letters addressed to Fleischhauer regarding payment question and informations about business trips can be seen. Also a personal correspondence between Toedtli and Farmer is attached, main subjects in those letters are their personal condition and a general information exchange of their works. Furthermore several letter of the Schweizerische Verrechnungsstelle are attached, all of them regarding payments or money transfers.
