The file contains a some reports regarding varous aspects of Democracy in the German Republic of Weimar. There are several copies of the reports attached, some include handwritte notes, others are just drafts. Furthermore an Appendix can be seen. Under the title of: Aspects of Democracy and the German Republic of Weimar. The report is divided into seven chapters, including introduction and conclusion. Issues of democracy in Germany have been discussed, like the aim of political and economic democracy itself, the class struggle and the dogma of Marxism and the dogma of the party program. Also some aspects of the historical and cultural background, some aspects of the psychological and economic background, as well as some aspects of parliamentary democracy under Weimar, like the industrial revolution and socialism, the electoral system, main political parties and their structure, as well as coalition policy had been discussed. In the conclusion the author speaks about winning the peace and the crisis of civilisation, as well as about the illusion of a return to or perfection of parliamentary democracy in Germany. Furthermore a report ragarding the reparations based on the Treaty of Versailles is attached.
