Scope and Content
Military dispatch received through the city of Tuapse, detailing several events around the Caucasus area of the Soviet Union. In Stavropol;, a mob of workers beat up members of political opposition and they were then arrested. Likewise, a passing extremely well-guarded train generated rumours of Stalin returning very ill from Georgia. Due to multiple arrests in Georgia, mutinies are beginning in the Georgian military, Several Caucasus cities, including Stavropol', Vladikavkaz, Krasnodar and Rostov on Don show signs of resistance and Vladikavkaz shows signs of substantial partisan anti-communist activity.
