Scope and Content

Draft of the expertise of Fleischhauer at the Bern trial. Fleischhauer was an Antisemitic activist and publisher from Erfurt who was appointed as expert by the Swiss Nazi defendants. Fleischhauer claimed that the Protocolls of the Wise Men of Zion were genuine but of uncertain authorship, possibly composed by the Jewish author Ahad Haam and passed at a secret meeting of Bnai Brith which purportedly took place in 1897 during the first Zionist Congress at Basel, Switzerland. The testimony is full of antisemitic conspiracy that sometimes isn't even directly related to the case. His testimony took several days. In this folder: Introduction and I-IV of his testimony. It contains the chapters: History of origins of the protocolls. Jews for the authentification of the protocolls. Maurice Joly and the secrets of the Wise Men of Zion. Failed attempts to prove the fabrication.
