The file contains several newspaper articles, published in the 'Völkischer Beobachter', 'Westdeutscher Beobachter' and in other newspapers, during the years of 1933 till 1939. All the articles are regarding the economic and financial policy of the national socialist party in Germany. When Hitler became chancellor in 1933, he introduced policies aimed at improving the economy. The changes included privatization of state industries, autarky, and tariffs on imports. The Völkischer Beobachter reported about the new "Wirtschaftsvernuft" (economy rationality), the new plans and regulation of the employment market, the elimination of poverty and the changes in between the bank regulations. Furthermore articles discribe the economic change during the years under the power of Hilter. Also general informations regarding the policy and happenings in Germany can be read.
