The file contains several newspaper articles, published in the 'Völkischer Beobachter' and 'Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung during the years of 1933 till 1936, regarding the economic and financial policy of the national socialist party in Germany. When Hitler became chancellor in 1933, he introduced policies aimed at improving the economy. The changes included privatization of state industries, autarky, and tariffs on imports. The Völkischer Beobachter reported about the new "Wirtschaftsvernuft" (economy rationality), the new plans and regulation of the employment market, the elimination of poverty and the changes in between the bank regulations. Furthermore articles discribe the economic change during the years under the power of Hilter. Also interviews with German worker published in the 'Völkischer Beobachter' and abroad were used to show the success the national socialists had with their economic strategies.
