The file contains a correspondence between Alexander Kraus, of the Czechoslovak Army Headquarters, the Sectretary of the British Central Fund Mr. Stephany and Herold Linder, of the American Joint Distributioin Committee in London. Also one telegram of Mr. Philip v. Freudiger from Bucharest is present. Subject is the economical and social situation of Jews in Czechoslovakia, Bucharest and Budapest in 1945. Financial help for personal and religious needs is asked of the British Fund. Jews returning from concentration and labour camps come back to Czechoslovakia, Bucharest and Budapest without anything and help would be absolutely necessary.
