The file contains reports filed by the German POW camps Teschen and Lamsdorf on the condition of the interned prisoners of war, among them British, Russian, French, Serb, Greek and Italian soldiers held in custody. The report details the numbers of captives, their overall living conditions, prisoner morale, disciplinary actions taken against them and or their German guards, matters of provisioning food and(in-)sufficient clothing, internal difficulties such as Black Market economy and hunger among prisoners of war. The reports also detail attempts of flight and executions of prisoners convicted for certain crimes and disciplinary infractions.
