Scope and Content
Letter from the Inspector of Concentration Camps of the Reichsführer SS to the Concentration camp commandants of Dachau, Sachsenhausen, Buchenwald, Mauthausen, Flossenbürg, Neuengamme, Auschwitz and Gross Rosen. Copies of the letter should also go to the camps' physicians, the "Schutzhaftlagerführer" (heads of preventive detention camps) and the camp administrations. The subject of the letter is handling of Russian Prisoners of War and their working in stone quarries instead of their immediate execution.
